ABOUT MANHASSET SEPTA:
Manhasset SEPTA is a local chapter of the National PTA supporting Manhasset’s special education population. As part of the PTA, the largest parent-teacher organization in America, we are able to offer our members national, state and regional on-line resources, as well as a voice with legislative government.

Chartered in Oct 2007, Manhasset SEPTA is one of the largest growing SEPTAs on Long Island. Furthermore, we were recognized by the National PTA for membership that had more than 25% male members in 2008.

Since chartering, Manhasset SEPTA has brought many firsts to our community including the first PTA, the first Wrightslaw Study Group to New York State, the first special needs parenting section to the Manhasset Public Library, and the first special needs program to the SCA Saturday Series. (More information about this and more is available on this website.)
